Franz Sandner is a German instrument maker founded in Schönbach in 1924. Since 2002 the company has run its own factory rather than outsourcing production, keeping timber sourcing and every stage of manufacture under its own control — which is how German design standards reach the finished instrument.

The Franz Sandner UP-119 is a compact upright piano built for the home and the practice room: clear in the treble, well grounded in the bass, and easy to place in a normal living room.

This instrument is finished in walnut and is supplied with a matching piano bench.
