Description

Franz Sandner is a German instrument maker founded in Schönbach in 1924. Since 2002 the company has run its own factory rather than outsourcing production, keeping timber sourcing and every stage of manufacture under its own control — which is how German design standards reach the finished instrument.

The Franz Sandner FS-62A is an upright piano in the traditional European cabinet style, with carved detailing on the top panel and lower board. Its timber is aged more than three years before it is worked — the longest seasoning in the Sandner upright range.

This instrument is finished in satin walnut and is supplied with a matching piano bench.
