Franz Sandner is a German instrument maker founded in Schönbach in 1924. Since 2002 the company has run its own factory rather than outsourcing production, keeping timber sourcing and every stage of manufacture under its own control — which is how German design standards reach the finished instrument.

The Franz Sandner SG-151 is a baby grand piano — a true grand action and a grand piano’s open, blooming tone, in a case short enough for a normal reception room. The soundboard timber is seasoned for two years before it is worked.

This instrument is finished in walnut, and is fitted with a self-playing disc system and is supplied with a matching piano bench.
