Franz Sandner is a German instrument maker founded in Schönbach in 1924. Since 2002 the company has run its own factory rather than outsourcing production, keeping timber sourcing and every stage of manufacture under its own control — which is how German design standards reach the finished instrument.

The Franz Sandner SP-123A is an upright piano with a full, well-supported voice and a responsive touch, built from timber aged more than two years before it is worked.

This instrument is finished in polished black and is supplied with a matching piano bench.
